I will start my pictures and information with an already disassembled HP-1. Anyone wanting information on where to begin should first look at Joop Nijenhuis' web pages. That is where I started. The picture below shows all of my HP-1 parts disassembled and cleaned. |

This next picture shows one of the new Sony 211566702 ear pads (between the Canon lens cap and the original HP-1 ear pad). The green plastic material is a kitchen cutting board I bought from Target or Wal-mart. The plastic piece already cut out will be used as the inner headband support. It was made by tracing the original HP-1 inner headband. The black outlined ring on the green plastic cutting board was made by using the HP-1 head shell cap (just to the right of the outline) as a template. |
